MY EXPERIENCES IN COLLEGE 

SEMESTER 1

I still remember my first day and my first semester in the State Polytechnic Of Ujung Pandang. I felt excited and at the same time I was very nervous because it was my first day in the College and I didn’t know any person. I didn’t know how to arrive to my classroom, I didn’t know anything about this College. I was lost and I had to ask one person about the room where I was going to take the classes. There is a person was very kindly helped me and told me the right direction .Finally, I found my class. In the class I met so many friends, we introduce ourself one by one so we know each other.I tried to build a good connection with my friends in the class, I asked about ‘where are  they come from?, where are they school? And etc. I tried to know and search more about them and I found so many characters from them. Im so glad because in one class there are so many characters and we have to understand each other, I think that was a new experience for me in the college. But also I found that there is a big difference between school and college life, the world of school are narrow and limited and the world of college is large. Also in my first semester , I got so many tasks and that was made me so difficulty to work it. But Over All in this semester I thought it's just about a process to adjustment to the college life.

SEMESTER 2

In the second semester , I had some good and bad experiences especially in campus organization . In this semester I started to knew and entering several organizations and found many new things like new friends , new science ,  new experiences , and also learned more about soft skills. Also in this semester me and my friends from IIC D3 electrical engineering went to industry visit and saw a few offices of PLN.  We also had holiday to the malino enjoy the beauty of nature in the malino, there are so many places we visited there ranging from pine forests, waterfalls, and strawberry garden and everything was beautiful. We were so happy and enjoy that moment. But in this semester I had also felt worse because I got a grade ‘C’ in my course and also very difficult to manage my time between academic and organizations.

SEMESTER 3

My third semester , Im still had some good and bad experiences. In this semester Im more focused on my organization. I began to enter the committee of an event and learned to become a leader, I also have started to get used to and manage my time between the academic and organization. Also in this semester our class was visited by one of PLN’s employee and was instructed to study at one of udiklat PLN that located in Gowa. We were very excited with that. But behind all the fun, I had remedial for Response 1 LAB because less of learning, maybe because I was too busy with the organization, so my time to study is also reduced.
